Look at nick robertsons numbers. He’s 22 years old. He’s a top prospect for a 3rd line centre

The flyers may honestly have a bottom 3 prospect pool in the nhl, coupled along with some of the worst contracts in the league, good luck !

All you Toronto fans keep posting the Murray to SJ for the privileged of helping you out of 5 mil cap hit… why does San Jose do this?

Move up in the draft and you have no reason to want to win. Why wouldn’t they ?

Also the leafs helped Chicago win the bedard sweepstakes by giving them mrazek. That could be you !!

5 mil cap hit to move up 8 spots when the 25-45 range is all so very close seems silly.

Sharks don’t do this deal!

A very unintelligent response so let me educate you.

Farabee, Tippett, Frost, Cates, TK, Foerster, Gauthier, Brink, York, Attard, Andrae are all 26 or under. But yes we need another 3rd line winger.

This goes against basically every report from every media source in the league. The Flyers prospect pool is middle of the pack at worst and was considered to be in the top 10 for years previously. U can have ur opinion but it goes against everyone who follows the game of hockey lol

If he is so good then keep him and play him! 😂 if he isn’t and you want Laughton pay the Flyers real value back

just stop

you're not going to fleece SJ taking their 2023 2nd

SJ would maybe send lesser draft picks back for dumping Murray but the Mrazek comparison is terrible

The leafs have too many wingers. They also don’t have terrible contracts littering the organization like Philly. (Hayes, ristolainen, couturier who can’t stay healthy). How u gonna pay these so called superstar prospects u guys have !

It’s easy, Hayes and Provy are both reported to be traded (most think it’s guaranteed). That frees up almost $14M. Tony D will be gone soon which is another $5M. Rebuild will take 3-4 years so Risto deal would be done which is another $5M. Coots had 1 injured year and if he is healthy contract is fine. Not to mention JVR leaving is $7M. Atkinson deal is up soon which is another like $5-6M. That’s like $35M in cap space lol. We will be able to pay every one of our prospects. If you want Laughton pay an actual price for Laughton instead of throwing scraps at us

By the timeline you just gave me all your prospects will be 28 years old putting up 40 points a year. Sounds like a revolving door of last in your division

Yikes lol half of our prospects are 22-24 and the other half are between 19-22. Some will be around 28 sure but majorit will be 26 or younger and isn’t that the prime for NHL guys anyway? You assuming they will all only put up 40 points doesn’t even make any sense lol a few of them have already put up more than 40 points in the NHL.

The future? You mean all of our prospects, including Cutter and another top player in this years draft, that doesn’t look too grim to me. The current and the next 2-3 years will be grim but that’s what a rebuild is. The future looks pretty good. I’d be more worried about the Leafs in 4 years when by then all of the stars jumped ship to successful playoff teams rather than the Flyers in 4 years who will be coming out of their rebuild while the Leafs will be entering one.

If you think Owen Tippett and Morgan frost are leading you pats the devils, hurricanes, rangers in your division, not to mention the leafs, lightning, panthers, in the Atlantic and the building senators, red wings, and sabres, I have some bad news for you. To be honest I’d rather be in Columbus’ position than Philly , and that’s really sad.

That’s the entire point of a rebuild is to build up prospects and turn them into NHL stars. York is project to be a top pairing guy, Cutter projects to be a 1C. Frost and Cates can be 2C and 3C respectively. Farabee, Brink, Tippett, Foerster are all guys that have 2nd line capabilities. Hart is a franchise goalie and Errson will be one of the best backups in the league not to mention Kosolov is a top goalie prospect. We draft 7OA this year and could potentially hit Michkov if not a great player regardless. Flyers need to work on their blue line for sure but their prospect pool has all of the capabilities to turn into a really good team a few years down the line.
