Not awful value for Nylander/Hanfin trade but Leafs do not need defence when trading one of core 4. Their problem is scoring in playoffs so this would not help that.

Like I said in the description most of these trades are for fun and they all kind of make stories. Like Konecnys wife is from CGY so he has a reason to play there, Nylander is from CGY so bring him home, Driedger is Hitmen Alumni so he knows the city. Toffoli is traded because if we sell him now we should get a big return after the season he had. Traded both goalies because for sure one is being moved but I moved both just to give ideas where they could go and what is a possible return maybe. The Marky trade I feel isn't right but maybe a different return would look better from BUF. 1 thing fore sure I'd rather move Kadri over Lindy even though the return wouldn't be as good.

Leafs also don't get enough D scoring in the playoffs. Look at CAR, their D core was insane at scoring all season and post season. Hanafin is becoming an amazing TWD especially since his offensive game is way better now

True, but the problem is overall scoring, and Nyalnder for Hanfin is a net decrease in scoring in the playoffs.
