The only player on VAN's roster that could command a return like that is Pettersson (NSH probably adds a 2nd or something though). No one wants to get stick with Miller's terrible attitude or worse contract.

Yes, Pettersson would cost three 1sts, three 2nds, three top prospects, and three affordable young roster players. You sure NSH shouldn't add Jimmy Carson, Martin Gelinas and $15M too?

Maybe that 2nd I said to add to those three pieces was low. Make it EDM's 2023 1st, or a prospect like Reid Schaefer and I think the value's there. Two 1sts, Kemell, and Fabbro is equivalent to max offer sheet compensation, IMO (Fabbro being worth a bit more than a 2nd, but not quite a 1st. Kemell being worth more than the average 1st).
