    A 6.25 million cap dump with an 8 million salary tagged on is worth more than a 3rd and a 5th that aren't even this year. Detroit declines.

    Dubas and Sullivan have put emphasis on speed going forward, and the team needs to get younger. I'm hesitant to say Brodie adds either element.
    And I don't really understand the argument of "he played under/was aquired by Dubas so he's on Pittsburgh's lookout." The Pens are a different team with a different style and needs. I can see Michael Bunting fitting in with what we're looking for, but not a lot of other Leafs who could be on the table.
