Not a rumor. Jarmo has said himself they'd be willing to move the LA pick for immediate help at LD. Doubt Murphy fits what they're looking for though since they already have a logjam at RD.

That's fair, at the time i posted this I thought Jiricek was a LD.

I would think everything in Chicago could be for sale except that 1st overall, but maybe without cap room issues and a potential superstar coming in, they try to keep what few effective vets they have?

So Seravalli said it in his podcast, but apparently a different CBJ fan just claimed and Jarmo himself said it. I can't confirm that one though.

I'm perfectly fine keeping Murph. He's a good physical Dman that can help the Hawks develop their LD prospects. Just posting an idea.

There are also interviews with Jarmo where he says the same first hand. I'm not going to go find those though since it's well documented enough that a google search brings up multiple instances of him being quoted or talking about his willingness to trade the pick for LD help.

Dunno if Seravalli is trying to push this as news, but it's been known for 2 months now.
