Calgary values those guys very highly, I don't see them selling for that low, especially considering they want to contend now.

Tanev is worth roughly two seconds and Mangiapane is at least worth a 1st.

Both the Flyers and Pens will want more you can’t move from 9 to 7 in the most stacked draft of all time when everyone knows there will be a disgusting player at 7 for just a 2nd round pick. Same with pens moving from 17 to what 13 I think the Pens are, moving 4 spots means a lesser group of players will be left. That’s not worth Zadina

Philly doesn't have a 2nd this year. A rebuilding team needs as many picks as possible. Moving back 2 spots and grabbing a 2nd in a very good draft is a smart move. The guy Philly will grab at 7 is in the same tier as the guy the Wings will get at 9. The only way I wouldn't do it if I was Philly was if Michkov fell to them. Other wise there are probably 6 or 7 guys that could go in any order from 6-12 after Bedard, Fantilli, Carlsson, Michkov and Smith are gone.

No Philly are guaranteed to have one of Benson, Michkov, Leonard available to them. You take one of them unless the Wings or some other team overpay, we will start to stack futures through moving players out. Nobody is moving 2 spots back in this draft for a mid 2nd it’s just not going to happen in this draft u can watch and see. Any movement in the top 7 will cost a haul because ur guaranteed to get a player with an extremely high ceiling

I guess that's where we disagree. I have seen numerous mocks with Dvorsky, Reinbacher, Moore, Perrrault ahead of Benson and Leonard. All of those guys could go in any order. All depends where teams have them in their rankings. I just think moving back 2 spots and still getting a stud while being able to add a mid 2nd in a good draft is a no brainer.

Anybody can make a mock draft and for any random hockey site. Don’t believe everything you read or see, do ur own research. Benson and Leonard are better than all of them you named. Reinbacher might go higher cause he is the top D in the draft, Dvorsky doesnt have a super high ceiling, Moore has skating issues, Perrault literally played on the same line as Leonard and outperformed him. I don’t care how big of an overpay it is, if I’m Danny I tell the Wings if they want 7th so bad the price is 8th and 17th, if they say no that’s stupid then u draft 7th and take one of Benson, Michkov, Leonard and if they say yes you get a haul

I'd love it if it happened, but I don't see any desire on Calgary's end to take this deal
