Idk Anaheim could use a veteran to help the young guns & ya idk if Florida wins the cup I could see them trying to get a 1st rounder as they have no draft picks@ledge_and_dairy

Not great moves for the islanders imo. Right idea to move Bailey, but it will 100% cost more unless there's a tanking team struggling to hit the floor.

Clifton is a good target, but that feels like an over-pay. By overspending on a 3rd pair RHD, you leave a bottom-6 featuring Ross Johnston and Cal Clutterbuck on the 3rd line. Oof

What!? Florida decline easily a 1st for Anthony Duclair? Are you kidding me? This would be a horrible trade for Isles.

It might be, might not. The reality is Duclair is cheap, effective, and they are contenders. A 1st doesn't help them win the cup now whereas a guy who has 10 points in 16 playoff games and is only making 3M does. If Florida were to consider selling anyone it would be Reinhart since he is similarly effective and over twice as expensive
