Description

Before everyone comes in with "Dubois only wants MTL," that may well be true but this is just what I wish would happen with this team to give it a jolt. Not to mention, a year is a long time and the Leafs could convince PLD on the merits of staying long-term.

Even if we don't get PLD to stay, that's a risk work taking - this upcoming year might be our last real shot. I'd rather that than move Marner for some picks or futures...

Marner is going to have a lot of value. But Ehlers and PLD and a 1st upgrade is too much. I don't see Marner to Winnipeg being a good fit.
