Nate Danielson

Description
Danielson just feels and reads like a Bill Guerin type of player…AND he’s a center too! I figure the Wild need to move into picks 6-11 to have a chance at him. In this scenario, I am acting as if he’s available at 11 and make a draft floor deal with the Nucks…
Deals with the teams 6-10 would be very similar.
Danielson on the roster only to help evaluate.
I know what he recently said, but assume MAF signed off on a trade to Pitt.

I have Danielson going at 11 on my prospect list. So, you are correct. Well projected.

Canucks don’t have the cap space or need at winger for Foligno

I highly doubt that's enticing for Vancouver. Addison probably doesn't have a lot of value at the moment until he figures out how to limit the goals against while he's on the ice.

Don't think Foligno has hardly any value either. Not a bad player, but a fairly high cap hit for what he brings.

I think he’s probably similar to geekie from last year, 6 to 10 I think is a little high, but that 11 to 15 range probably getting snapped up, going to need a trip back to Brandon and probably sometime in ahl, but going to be a solid 2-way add.

I was originally retaining 1/2 his salary, but then the Wild’s cap didn’t work… What other piece from the Wild would work…a LHD prospect like O’Rourke?

Move him to Detroit for a third.

The Canucks don’t really need a LHD prospect. We need a C or RHD more than anything. Not sure if Addison is the best fit either as we’d probably prefer someone more defensively responsible

I think that’s fair. Danielson probably has a higher ceiling though.

I see his ceiling as a high end 2c or a low end 1c.

This draft has a 03 feel to it, with absolute gold at the end of the first, don’t believe a goalie going first by any means, but carter, getzlaf, perry in the mix throughout the first round. Dman might be lighter in this one and the first goalie might not crack the first, but an abundance of forward talent spread through out the first round. Top 4/5 could be rather ridiculously good also. Possibly a better draft to compare to, always love draft season.

Very well done.

Addison will fetch a second. Maybe trade him first for a 2nd and then offer Van 1, 2, 2 to move up to 11. I think that would be more appealing to them.

I love the Dumba angle but guessing he gets around 5.5- 6 on the market

Gus, not a fan of giving that much term for 35-40 games of starter action and subpar playoffs

Danielson would be a great pick but I personally would like a big Dman drafted. I think Marat will 1c in 2 years.
