It is absolutely not worth it to trade for Lafreniere. The only way I'd acquire him is if it was a deal where VAN moves minor assets. He's not worth losing pick 11 for

Meh. I don't mind it in a scenario like this where you're trading down from 11 to 23 and upgrading podz to Laf.

NSH hard pass. Would rather have Sissons than Garland.

Laf is not worth the difference between 11 and 23rd yet alone adding more

OTT does not want a overpaid 3rd liner they decline

Fair trade with Beauvillier, good middle-6 forward

Problem is JBD is in the plans. Any other way to acquire Beauvillier?

Like Thomson (not a need for the Sens) and a pick?

NYR will want MINIMALLY the Dach trade for just Laffy. Dach got 13th overall and 66. Laffy has also been more productive than Dach prior to trade. So there is no incentive for NYR to trade him unless you blow them away. Moving up from 23 to 11, and getting a project in Podkolzin (who couldn't break through on the Canucks and didn't LIGHT UP the AHL) isn't really worth it for NYR. Only way I could see NYR doing a trade is 11th+ for just Laffy, and it may even hinge on being able to use 11+23 to move up to get Will Smith, but maybe they think Oliver Moore is good at 11th (although it would probably wait until Vancouvers pick to do the trade, prevent a Lias Andesson fiasco from the past when they wanted Pettersson)

Potentially but JBD is the guy I'd really be looking at for van.

I see, both teams seem to have the same problem, lack of defensive RHD

Thomson is a RHD but Chabot, Chychrun, Sanderson, Brannstrom... even Kleven and Guenette, Thomson won't sniff PP ever

Sens can find a middle-6 winger somewhere else, don't want to sacrifice JBD
