Kuznetsov is not a cap dump. And holy heck even if he was we aren’t moving Lappy for that, not a chance.

Mantha is worth less.

That trade sucks for the Leafs. And for the Jets.

Klefbom is retired.

That is fine, but you have a depreciating asset that you need to move, the return for PLD is 100% going to underwhelm the WPG fans

why would Kuz want to play on rebuilding team at this stage of career.? AZ w Kuz is better team but still not playoff bound so dont see them wanting him when they have lots young guys needing ice time to develop. He's way too good for a cap dump but not long term player for rebuilding team - he needs to go contender if Wash wants get rid of.
as for the swap 1st AZ not dropping 12OA in this draft for mid teens in next - this draft too deep.

Wilson for Nylander alone is not fair value imo. Caps should be adding to that. A guy as skilled as Willy, who has guaranteed chemistry with Backstrom, should be a major target for Caps FO
