Pretty close to what it would take for DeBrincat. I just don’t see the Wings trading the 9th overall pick. Could see NYI pick and multiple 2nd’s.

I mean one quick look at the prospects from '22 and the prospects from '23 and you can see that '23s list is much better.
Another quick look at the player they acquired and you see DeBrincat scored 14 less goals, one less year, and an impending extension that will be long and expensive.

I don't think it's impossible to get what they paid for him; but I certainly think it's unlikely.
