Additional Details:
I do like John Gibson a lot. Main reason being because no goaltender has been under more duress over the past three to four years than Gibson. He’s also one of the better goalies in the league in high danger situations, and had to stand on his head most nights and if the Sabres are looking for a goalie, you need to ask yourself what do you want? Which is a fair question?

7 games is a tiny sample size for a goalie as Levi played, and UPL played 9 two years ago and looked great. They need to tread carefully with both guys and it would be wisest in my opinion to get a goaltender with experience who can split work with Devon Levi, and UPL if you keep him. Antti Raanta would be at the top of the list for UFA’s. But availability will be an issue with him, as it’s been for past teams.

I think you need to be looking for an upgrade over UPL with experience to mentor and support Levi, and Gibson is an upgrade

in the words of michael corleone, you can hear my offer for john gibson right now. nothing. i agree gibson has some game left but if i needed to win a hockey game tomorrow, i'm taking levi over gibson. there are stretches when pucks seem to hit a goaltender and their numbers may be smoke and mirrors. there is no smoke or mirrors with levi. he's a playmaker as a goalie and was at an entirely different level than UPL, comrie and anderson, all of whom had really good stretches during the season. if UPL went back down and had a good run in rochester we'd be saying he's an exciting prospect and on the up and up. since he came up, played well enough to stay, went 17-11-4, but had ups and downs, we're ready to write him off at 24? doesn't make sense to me. levi for 50, UPL for 30, and take the assets you want to trade on goaltending and get a top 4 defenseman.

I don't mind the Gibson trade. Reasonable contract moving forward. Can give Levi time to get acclimated to the NHL. And if he's ready to take over by playoffs...let him take over. The cost seems reasonable considering there will probably be competing offers...but if there's a way to do it without a the first...I'd be all in

Your offer is unintelligible because no one knows what the phrase "Conditional first round pick or second round pick in 2024 [if] the Sabres make the playoffs" means, or why it's on the Buffalo receiving end of the deal. Surely you can't possibly think that we're adding to that package?

Ducks aren’t retaining 1.5 mil on Gibson for that long. And why are Ducks adding more if the Sabres make playoffs? That doesn’t make a lot of sense

Zero interest in Gibson, far too expensive in relation to his inconsistency

All L top 2 pairs, only 1 I like with Power is Dillon, putting Power on his off side like Dahlin. It's not impossible, but not ideal.
