Not sure why SJ is adding when Gallagher has an extra year of term

I think the draft pick would be going the other way as Gallagher's contract is longer.

Zero reason for SJ to even consider this. At least Vlasic plays. Whereas Gallagher hasnt played a full season in 5 years. Very easy decline. And the pick is definitely going the wrong way. The organization has made it clear that Vlasic isnt going anywhere and there is zero need to pay insanely valuable draft capital to dump a contract ESPECIALLY when were are taking an ever worse contract back. Zero logic in this move for SJ.

People on here need to realize that SJ has no reason to pay to move Marcs contract during a rebuild. Not even mentioning the fact that he had a pretty good year. Rebuilders don’t pay to move veterans. Period.
