These are awful trades, Bouchard is not worth offer sheeting for that much when he can barely play defence giving up a potential lottery pick to your biggest rivals is a bad idea.

Bertuzzi would never sign in Canada given his previous political opinions on Covid and the vaccine mandates.

Hanifin is worth more than a single first, and Tanev for a 2nd is poor asset management.

I believe that Edmonton matches on Bouchard, which puts them in an even tougher spot. If not, he is more serviceable than you are making him out to be, and he is only 23.

I think the bertuzzi stuff is overrated, we may have to go to $6 mil to entice him, but my question to you then? Do you think he would be a good fit for the flames?

Severson got a 3rd on a sign and trade, a 2nd (especially buffalos) is good management. If you can also get a 3rd (or another 2nd) great. Buffalos young D would benefit greatly from Tanev in their lineup.
Hannifin is a tough one for me, because who needs a #2 Left Shot D, who has the cap to take him on? I liked Pitt as a landing spot for him, but what more do you want or could get for him? A first and a second?

Washington needs LD, has a better OA pick, and is trying to remain competitive.

Dubas will trade down his pick for a 2nd, no need to give him Hanifin.

I don’t mind Washington as a trade partner
