Yeah there’s no way the caps make this move. The hawks have nothing that would interest the caps as they’re trying to compete now. Protas isn’t moving. Suzdalev is only getting moved if we’re getting something we can use now. Not futures.

it would be nice for the hawks to make that deal but i don't think it would happen. The hawks would need to find someone in FA if they want value. They have no assets to trade unfortunately.

A.) Mitchkov isn’t falling to 19th
B.) Hawks are rebuilding, KD is going to be patient & do it the right way. This trade is something his predecessor would’ve done.
C.) would the Hawks be on Kuznetsov’s 15 team no trade list?

If in some bizzaro universe the Caps agreed to that trade I think Kuz would be 1C and Bedard would start on the wing.
