I agree. But this is his ranking, not his mock draft.

Button sets these rankings for clicks, not for seriousness.

I kinda agree he's a idiot. ASP above Smith. Sale top 10? Reinbacher at 20? Bjarnson in the first round?

He honestly makes Pierre McGuire look normal.

Isn't it essentially public knowledge that the Sharks are drafting Smith?

Yea this is bad, Willander 22-30 not #8!
ASP over Reinbacher lol
Sale has too many flaws to be top 15 in this draft.
There are zero 1st round goaltenders in this draft and he has 2 here.
If Arizona gets Smith at 6 and Leonard at 12 they win this draft!

Their ranking is Smith, Leo, and Reinbacher favored above Michkov and that’s coming from a direct report from a Sharks scout.

So the draft top 4 is essentially locked, no?
1. Bedard
2. Fantilli
3. Carlsson/Smith
4. Smith/Carlsson

I think that’s the consensus unless Anaheim goes off the board with Michkov or Carlsson or Smith.
Personally I really want smith to the sharks, his draft year numbers and metrics are very similar to Marner’s draft year numbers. Kinda feel that’s Smith’s ceiling.
And the sharks having very little Right hand shot forward prospect talent makes this seam almost a slam dunk.

I'm also hoping it rolls that way so Montreal might actually be willing to trade 5. I want Michkov BADLY.

Detroit has some good size to their forward group and a history with Russians so it’s not a bad place to see him go! I figure Detroit or Washington honestly.
