Kane is out until January at the earliest after his resurfacing hip surgery.

And Jonathan Toews will only sign with hometown Winnipeg or retire.

And that lame offer doesn't get you Patrik Laine.

Columbus has no interest in this. They give up the two best players in that trade. Hyman is close to Boqvist in value, but with his age and term there is no reason for CBJ to consider him.
