Going to need to spice it up more for both of the flyers players to be included.

Like a considerable amount more than a 1st first, 2 average prospects, and late round picks lol

I would go as far as saying Knies is a must include here and then still maybe a first.

Anaheim is willing to give you a Boston second for that cap dump instead of Future Considerations.

Wasn't sure how big you were on Robertson+Hirvonen.
If you're rational, then yeah it doesn't get TK. If you're a Leafs' fan who overrates their prospects more than Detroit fans, then it's quite a good deal!

I don't think the Leafs want to be spending assets like that. Using high picks to dump a year of Murray is a terrible idea. Packaging everything you have left to get two middle-6 forwards probably isn't optimal either. Flyers fans will scream that it isn't enough, but it's far more than I'd like to see the Leafs spend in that situation.

You have no cap flexibility to resign Matthews and Nylander next year. I don't think they're adding all that long-term salary without having a plan for that. I think it's much more likely they'd look at somebody on an expiring deal for exactly that reason.

Robertson has been constantly hurt so he’s not really worth much til he can prove he is healthy. Nolan Patrick has immense talent and it doesn’t smart cause he is always hurt. Hirvonen is average in my opinion.

You're severely underrating both players, especially as far as saying TK is a middle 6 player. he's 100% a top 6 guy, would play on every single teams first or second line, with no debate. he's in his prime on a team friendly deal and just had his best pro season, he is certainly worth more than you're making him out to be.

Laughton may be penciled in to a middle 6 player on this team, but he also brings leadership, a very responsible defensive game, and also is coming off the best season of his career, and still is on the right side of 30 with a very, very affordable cap hit.

I understand putting them in a box when arguing what their value is and how much to give up for them, but they are both much more than just middle 6 players, IMO.

Konecny had a good scoring year this year for sure. But he's had some rough years as well. I don't think he's a slam dunk top line guy for the Leafs. He's also scored one goal in 22 playoff games, which may or may not be his fault but that's when the Leafs need scoring. He's totally fine but not at the ransom Philadelphia fans believe he will get.
