I wouldn't move KK for Schiefele straight up. Schiefele doesn't fix anything. He's so bad defensively, he'd end up getting moved further down the lineup. Kotkaniemi at least can play top six minutes and put up 40-50 points. The two players I can see the Canes would have real interest in are Connor and PLD. They hate rentals, they hate guys on the wrong side of 30, they hate defensive liabilities. Schiefele ticks multiple boxes.
