Why would buffalo trade their better 1st round pick? Maybe two 2nds and a prospect but that's just wrong

They are only swapping 1sts essentially 6 positions. Unless there is something really attractive at 13 by all means stay there but if not the difference between 13 and 19 is a coin flip. Adding a high second could easily be a late 1st in value and be a likely NHL player in time. You’re rolling the dice outside the top ten. I’d rather have 2 rolls over 1 on hitting on a NHL contributor

I don't think I would do it as a Hawks fan. Values probably close, I just personally think we'll be able to get a good player at 19.
