If Leafs dont do anything with Murray, they dont have the monery for Samsonov so anyone could get him for free, just like the leafs did last year.

Our goaltending with these moves becomes an even bigger mess! Leafs will be buying our Murray and re-signing Sammy for a short-term deal around ~$3.5M, or swinging big for Helly or breaking the bank for Adin Hill. Varalmov will not be part of the discussion.

Also not sure why we'd give up so quickly on Timmins and reduce our D-depth to get another ex-Leaf 4LW when we can get someone better as a FA or bring up McMann who deserves a shot at this point.
