Value isn't bad but I don't see Anaheim trading Gibson for a roster player, especially considering you're giving them two picks. Anaheim will be better next year than they were last year, but they're still rebuilding, meaning they should still be targeting young pieces rather than a 28 year old defenseman in his prime.

Hey new guy, welcome to cap friendly. There's some interesting ideas here, and some not so great ones.

A team with a significant amount of talent in their pipeline shouldn't be throwing offer sheets around. That's something a team like Pittsburg, Boston, etc. should look at.

Cat is a good pickup for us. Peace isn't if that's the cost, and I personally wouldn't make any of the UFA signings you made. We might be fringe playoffs with this roster, but we're back to square one in a couple years.

Nothing valuable there. Canes pass. Please don’t tell me Gibson is worth it with his play last 3-4 years and remainder of contract. Don’t really care who he’s playing in front of. Canes have proven they don’t need a vezina goalie to win.
