That's not getting Schmaltz. Quantity for quality trade here. Brodie is a rental. Robertson and Hirvonen are prospects plus a late 1st. This offer is easily beaten. Young centres entering their prime cost a premium. This doesn't cut it. And you want McBain included? Nope.

I started the trade wanting McBain and then threw in Schmaltz I quickly realized we don’t have very many assets I want to get rid of lmao. What do you think McBain is worth?

I don't think McBain is available. He's cheap, big, young and can pop in a few goals. Plus he's a Toronto boy which is likely why you want him playing for the Leafs.

Easy no from the Coyotes. M NTC Brodie can't be a cap throw in.....why would he waive to Coyotes?

Schmaltz is in his prime and he's what you have seen so far. A good depth center. His stats are inflated due to being the best on a terrible team. On a good team he likely loses points. I agree this doesn't seem like the right trade for him but let's not go overboard on who he is.
