Well according to some Habs fans, Jack McBain is better than Zegras. And I’m pretty sure Zegras is better than Henrique. So maybe we should just target McBain?

The roster shows that New Jersey doesn't have a significant player's hit worth of cap space without retention. But upon mature reflection, you're right, the second is too much, by quite a bit.
