Marner/Bedard combo would be lethal. But Being a Leafs fan I refuse this trade as well..not enough draft capital and for a Dman who would be 2nd or 3rd pairing not enough for star player of Marners calibre.

To get ROR to resign (and its a long shot as word is he is good as gone) would take 6M imo..maybe for 3 years?..this FA class is weak so players will absolutely get overpaid.

CHI declines. It's just not something that is in the cards. Wouldn't doubt if TOR got that kind of value for Marner, though. They just have to find the right partner.
