Description

Not ideal, but if LA is against losing key players, signing Matt Murray after a Toronto buyout makes sense.

LA signed Mike Buckley as their goalie coach this offseason, he worked with Matt Murray throughout his development and would be a low-risk move to get a starter with Stanley cup experience at a cap minimum. LA can leverage this tandem and sign Alex Lyon for Ontario as a safety.

Gavrikov signing had a lot to do with how well he played with Roy. Unlikely the Kings trade for Samsanov, if the Kings really need to they will move Arvidsson and use the cap relief to get Andersen or HIll.

100%, Kings got Roy with a 7th-round pick and they absolutely love him. I'm hoping he takes a very similar long-term deal to Mikey Anderson.

Where would Clarke fit into this? Not a ton of mins to go around

Clarke and Spence need to focus on taking Durzi's role this season. If either does, we'll move Durzi. Anderson, Roy, and Gavrikov are shut-down defensemen. Until Bjornfot can play more solid, we need all three of these players.

Clarke is eventually the 1RD. Doughty isn't going to be able to play 26+ minutes forever. Doughty will slide to 2RD and Roy to 3RD.

Good ideas all around, including in your comments.

We have a limited number of options for goaltender. You've hit three of them here. Ullmark for Iafallo and Durzi is a possibility, and then there's the chance of something involving Daniel Vladar. Other than that, I think we're pretty much done.
