Think it's suffice to say DeBrincat to DET dreams are dead.

@Windjammer and I do disagree as much as we agree. haha.

The 9OA pick is too good to pass up.

Haha. I will join windjammer on that. I have to think the Jets could get more than an often injured Fabbri and a left dman prospect that the Jets have about 10 ranked higher. The first are nice, but I think he goes for way more.

That's fair.
I do think you're undervaluing Johansson, but that's entirely fair; I understand prospects in excess positions have less value to teams

That's all that is. Johansson will probably become a good 3-4 dman, but the Jets only need right shot RHD. The left is so cluttered that we are going to be losing skilled players on waivers because of it.

Heinola cannot even crack the lineup.

Yeah that is exactly how I feel about Johansson, same situation as Heinola.
If you guys want Chiarot back to play RD (I know he's Left-Shot), you can have him!!! Clears up Johansson's spot!

I saw that. The 9OA is great and all, but the odds of that pick turning out to be as good as Connor are slim and the Jets just have no reason to move him.

If Connor was in the last year of his contract I could see moving him, but not now and not for a strictly magic bean offer. There would have to be something there to limit the risk Winnipeg is taking.

As @Cory is saying an LHD prospect and okay RHD aren't adequate insurance.

Haha. No thanks, We let him walk because he wanted 3 mil to stay. He is not a 3+ mil dman. Playing with Byfuglien made him look good because he didn't make as many errors.

I really don't mean to be offensive here but you do not have any defensive prospects that are better than Johansson.

I want that 9OA so the Jets can get someone more suitable to the team and for long term. I'm hoping for someone like Reinbacher (doubt he will still be there, but who knows) or Barlow.

no offense taken, bud. I would argue that Heinola, Kuzmin, Chisholm, and Gawanke are slightly better, but each team values their prospects differently.
