Description
This whole offseason is choosing either colton or killorn. Resigning killorn just doesn’t make sense, your gonna lock yourself into a long term contract with a guy who has been extremely underwhelming during the past 2 playoffs. Colton needs to be given a chance to grow otherwise we will find ourselves in a mother marchessault or carter situation. Colton is the younger, faster and more physical option and it makes all the sense to keep colton unless they are able to get a trade they can not decline to better help this team in the future.

Colton almost filed for arbitration the first time he was eligible for an extension so you can only imagine he’s looking to get paid for real this time. Any team with cap can offer him 3.5+ and basically force Tampa to accept the compensation picks so you need to get him signed soon and at a price he feels like he’s the winner in the deal. The longer this stall the worst case for tampa

Tanner has no leverage when it comes to this contract negotiation, but instead of screwing him over and making him feel disrespected how about you up the bet on the guy you trade 6 assets for. I love tanners game and I can’t wait to see him play after having a full offseason and training camp.

After those signings all we can do is add a 4th line centre, accari just makes sense even if he is a little more expensive.

Don’t look into Hugo being the backup too much. Tampa will sign a vet for leauge min and have them play 25 games this season

That's what happens when you have long term success. The good news is Stamkos and Hedman are up soon and the cap is going up.

Hawks say no, They don't need "depth" defensemen. They have a bunch prospect D that need ice time.

No need for the Lightning to trade seabrook 1. They just LTIR him and 2. Myers is not going to make the team so we just waive him to the minors and we just have 275 k dead cap hit for his money. If someone claims Myers then even better for us

There is a need. In order to aquire cap space in the season you can’t have any money on LTIR. This allows Tampa to add at the deadline with cap space they have obtained through the season

Rather see a 3LD & 4th liner @1each than Accari forget that you're over already.

The amount of cap that they could accrue would be dependent on the amount of cap space they have available, and if you are signing acciari you are already over the cap and if you did find a way to be under the cap it would be barely and not worth tradin the seabrook contract when you could use the 4th to get retention at the deadline. Also dont think that jeannot will be that expensive and colton might be a bit more so would kinda even out.

Contracts are just estimates but I would wait to add a L’s at the deadline
