Some trade and UFA targets I like

Description
I like the NSH trade because VAN will still get a prospect they like at 15th OA. Fabbro has been decent for the Preds (definitely not a top pairing guy), but if he can gel with Hughes as a partner it could be a great long-term fit as a complimentary piece.

Strome-for-Boeser works for both teams IMO. ANA gets the better, younger player to play the right wing with one of their many talented young C's while VAN gets a guy that can capably fill the 3C role with some talented wingers on either side of him.

I like Dillon as a short-term target as he's solid defensively and could fill in on the 2nd pair if necessary. Not sure what the cost would be for him or even what the Jets direction will be this offseason, but I figured a 3rd rounder was a fair price. If they don't move him VAN could just scour the UFA market for a cheaper 3LD.

Soucy is my favourite UFA D target for the team and would hopefully gel with Hronek as a partner. If not he would end up an expensive but good 3LD that would stabilize that pairing.

Added Zohorna as a 4th liner with size, but he's basically just a depth option. Same with Lucic (who I don't really want the team to add) but he should only be deployed occasionally when they want a nuclear deterrent as he's too slow to be an everyday contributor.

The Nashville trade seems to work well for both sides.

Would rather keep Dillon but what about a DeMelo or Dillon for Garland trade?
