Montreal wont move Dach and especially not for the 29OA only

You should read my description before you comment next time. “ I’m not entirely sure on his trade value so I just ended up doing the 29th pick.” also if they keep both that means they’re gonna have to trade Dvorak and good luck with that.

I answered your concerns man, they simple won't move him, and not for that pick only.
Dach can also play C/W, I think Montreal will be okay.

Add the 10 OA to the 29 OA and the Habs consider it

Dach was just traded for the 13th OA pick last year and just had a great season so gonna have to add a lot more

Dach was traded for 13overall coming out of a very slow career start. He had his best season with us and hes signed under 4M for 3 more years, wich looks to be a bargain pretty soon.

As for the C, position with or without Dubois, there is absolutly no problem. Both Monahan and Dach played wing last year and Dach was very good with Suzuki and Caufield.

You never have to much center depth. Dvorak can also be moved to the wing if not traded, hes not part of the future anyway.

Last thing, the PLD drama is pretty much over IMO, with his 5-6 teams list, MTL lost a lot of leverage. Pretty sure the Monahan signing indicate that trade talks are dead. And if not, Dvo will be in the package to make the money work. Yes his value is very low but its not negative either. Hes a reliable 3C under 5M for only 2 more years. Slightly overpaid but he's at least worth 3M AAV.

I highly doubt Montreal does that.

We basically gave up Romanov and the 13th pick last year to get Dach. It would have to be your 10th pick to get him but that wouldn't be smart for STL
