It’s amazing how many times we have seen some version of this proposal, the response is always the same and yet Oilers fans don’t seem to get it.

Edmonton may very well be able to find some team that will give them something for Yamamoto, perhaps the 3rd round pick proposed here or maybe a 4th or 5th but the chances of that team being the rebuilding Blackhawks would have to be extremely slim. The Hawks would be more then willing to take Yamamoto off your hands for free but more then likely it will cost Edmonton assets to trade him to Chicago.
