To repeat what has been said before.

Kane is not coming back

Additionally, I think there is no way Chicago gives up a 2nd rounder for one of the Albatross bad contracts in the NHL

Why would CHI do any of this?

Well you got Bedard and the RFA signings right. After that, not so much...

So you think surrounding Bedard by AHL players is a good idea? Makes sense...

Who said that? Hawks will target a couple of UFA forwards who can play top 6 minutes (Killorn, Bunting, Tatar, Nyquist, etc.) who are willing to sign for 2 or maybe 3 years for a higher AAV. And I expect they'll end up with a couple of bad contract guys as well that they get a pick to take on.

No, the bad idea is trading a high value pick for a terrible contract that Nashville would need to pay to get rid of

They aren't "AHL players" And, Honestly... So what if they do? CHI's players are still better than anyone Bedard has ever been on a team with. He will grow, they will grow, and the team will grow together. Guys like Reichel, Raddysh, Johnson, Athanisiou, and Kurashev will be just fine to play with, and I'm sure there will be at least one more short term forward acquisition. There could even be some surprises out of camp. Ask yourself, if CHI were drafting 2nd or 3rd and getting Fantilli or Carlsson, would you be repeating this same rhetoric? The kid is gonna be fine. He is already more talented and mature than 90% of NHLers. Not to mention all of these players people keep suggesting CHI go after are going to hurt our draft position and cost us rebuild assets.
