I don’t think Mayfield is taking $1.5M after being at $1.45M for the last 5 years (even if he returned to the Island on a sweetheart deal). His low end starts at $3M and could get up to $5M or $5.5M. Timmins may have to be the 3RD with your setup and bring in a 7th guy to rotate with him and Gio.

Leafs certainly don't need Vladar. Those UFAs don't sign for so little, so no cap for Toffelli, not saying the Leafs should do the trade anyway.

Toffoli isn't what the leafs need in the top 6. It amazes me that people make trades for guys the leafs don't need style wise. Leafs need winger to win puck battles in the corners drive to the net and cause havoc, nasty guys. McCabe is a steal at 2M and no way are they trading him. Leafs have real good goaltending, Sammy with a good defense proved he is very capable and if Woll keeps playing like he has, he should be the #1 in 2years.
