I don't think this makes sense for either team. That's the only pick Toronto has in the first 4 rounds, so I don't think they want to give it up for a cap dump, and they can't afford to take on a cap hit like Garlands for 3 years. It looks a little better for Vancouver because of the draft pick, but if they're getting rid of Garland to get cap space, I don't think it makes sense to use that cap space on an injury-prone backup goalie.
