Habs take that in a heartbeat. Are you sure you don't mean to send the 3rd rounder the other way?

Are you trying to give the Wings the largest blueline in the league??

I'm gonna be honest, I don't think Gaudette and Parayko are combined worth a first as of now. Parayko is on a truly brutal contract

I don't consider hoffman to be a cap dump. I still think he has value and can easily bounce back to the old him.

Oh? Your the first person I hear that from. Why do you say that about Parayko? I still consider him a solid top 4 dman and $6mil ain't much for that solid and big of a player.

I wouldn't trade for Parayko. I like the player but he's too old with too much term. Doesn't fit our timeline.

3-4 years younger and I change my stance on it. He will be 33+ when we are competitive.

I'm sorry, but no. This starts out BRUTAL, and it never gets any better. Zero chance to all of it.

Remove the Detroit, Boston and MTL trades and I think you’re on to something here.

There’s no reason to add a 3m cap hit LD who was buried last year without receiving compensation for doing so.

Hoffman didn’t work well here the first time. Not sure why we’d try that again, he certainly shouldn’t be getting ice time from Blais who played at a 50+ point pace hitting everything once he got back to STL.

Trading Parayko exposes how poor the rest of our defense is at actually defending and or possessing the puck. A 24 1st signals a rebuild and Armstrong has stated he’s not doing that.

You forgot giving Domi 6M per. To play 3C. Oh no... where's my fainting couch?

I'm just keeping it 100, man. None of this is suitable. Or even remotely close.

I think Domi is definitely worth 6m. He's very underrated. had 60 points this season on a terrible team

    flushed cheeks

Dude. Points is not the whole game. And it's easier for marginally talented players to pile up points on tragic teams because they're getting ice time and PP time they'd never get on a solid team. Domi averaged over 18 minutes TOI with Chicago, and nearly 18 overall combining his time with Dallas. That's his career high. He had not had more than 15 minutes and change since 19/20. He also had far more PP time this season than he had in the three seasons prior combined.

He's actually a solid playoff performer when the going gets rougher (he was predictably crap for Dallas in the regular season). The second he lands on a good team he'll bring it down and his stats will plummet. He's not worth close to 6M.
