ADB won't be playing in Nashville for that offer. Need to include your 2023 1st round pick 15th overall pick as a starter if you want to beat what Detroit will be offering.

NSH declines the SJS trade. With a rebuild likely eminent, they aren't trading Askarov. He is likely off the table to anyone at this point.

After the RyJo trade there is a snowballs chance in hell that they move that pick. Not even for DeBrincat. NSH is likely rebuilding and needs someone who can be a top center for them now more than ever and they are likely picking someone like Danielson/Moore/Yager with it.

Tomasino + 24th OA is a perfect proposal

It's not that far from this one so just go with that, more realistic

Saros will be good for a long while. He can lead us through the rebuild and back to the contention. lots of time for a new heir to be drafted. There are a few Finns in this draft I would consider. We can get there sooner if we flip Askarov for what we dont have - scoring.

"The #Preds have had discussions about trading into the back half of top 10, per sources.
Barry Trotz has previously said he tried to get into the top four. I’m hearing picks 5-7 is where he’s targeting now" Michael Gallagher
@MGsports_

I have been saying here for months, they cant move Joey unless they keep 50%. and low and behold.... I have also been say they are not going to trade Saros. Why would they? He is rock solid and lead them back to the playoffs. Askarov is still young. flip him now , move up in the draft, and find a new Heir dow the road. And Sign the Cat.

Scoring can come without giving up the future. We don't necessarily need to sell the future of the team in order to win faster. If we are going to rebuild, then rebuild right. With the youth of this team, we are likely 2-4 years out from seriously contending. I'm more of the opinion that we let Askarov be the future and find scoring elsewhere. It will come in time, but there will be deals that will make it happen, I just don't see Askarov being part of those deals.
