Blues won’t do that imo
Krug and Hayes have similar value
A first is fine for Sanheim, no need to include saad Alex and the other stuff

Don't think Krug is going to waive the NTC. Like Alexandrov though

edit: NTC not NMC

Sounds like STL players aren't waiving NTC lists with PHI on it.

Am I crazy or is it kind of obvious that no one would waive to go to Philadelphia? It makes you wonder why that was ever a linchpin in this trade to being with. Not trying to rag on Philly, but its clear their in a rebuild. Whenever I look at players the Sharks might trade for I pretty much always rule out anyone with a trade clause.

Krug won’t waive his NMC for Philly and that’s why the trade has more then likely fallen through

Philly is usually considered a desirable organization. I'm sure the fact they are going through a rebuild makes them less desirable. Krug would be wasting the rest of his contract years on a rebuild if he stayed there.

Pure guess

Don’t love it. But it’s just a guess.

I’m not really either. But he did have fairly rough deployment last year as well. I think the real win is being able to make a 3rd pair not have to have all of the OZ starts and lightening the load on Parayko. I just don’t love that Sanheim has such a long deal in the event he doesn’t work out here.

Doubtful that would cause it to fall through. It’s why Armstrong doesn’t give out NMCs. Can just as easily waive Krug and Philly could claim him.

I’d guess if Philly had a different coach it would be a bit more desirable.

I'm sure there are a ton of unknown factors to fans that players care about. It also appears to me players are getting more forthcoming on expressing their preferences than even a few years ago.

He was hot garbage in 20/21, too. One good year out of his last four, and what looks to be a brutal contract for a guy who probably isn't the type we need.
