Description

Who would NJ have to offer to get Hellebuyck out of Winnipeg? Everyone is saying NJ is the front runner for him but the way that Fitzgerald has been operating since taking over as GM, I just don’t see us getting him. I think if anything, Vanecek is on the roster, maybe Schmid is, if not he starts in the AHL and we sign a veteran goalie for a year or P.T.O. Let me know what you guys think. I just think his main focus atm is signing Meier and our other RFA’s. Unless a trade knocks his socks off, I don’t see one happening before the draft.

I’d hope the jets would ask for Mercer one for one. Obviously NJ has 0 interest in that. Could see them finding a middle ground of like Schmid + Holtz + 24 2nd

Yeah, Mercer is a no go from NJ. I feel if NJ did this trade the main starting piece probably would be Nico Daws.

Max Jersey Does is Holtz, NJ has no interest in trading any of the following unless its an outrageous offer. And Helle isn't going to be overly expensive, he's a rental.
