honestly I bet CHI would take Clutterbuck with Bailey, one year of "veteran leadership" or whatever at a pretty minimal cap cost.

Like the Pageau if the Canes are happy with a good 3C trade, but won't give Klingberg that contract. Better value out there as UFAs.

What is the point in adding assets to move cap, when Sorokin isn't an RFA until after next season and you end up with 3.2m in cap space? Them you top it off by signing Klingberg to a 5m contract as a 3rd pairing RD?

we have the money, and klinsburg would help us with our biggest need, a puck moving defensiveman. dobson isn’t ready to take the reigns just yet and klinsburg would help generate more chances
