Mcleod is not even close to comparable to Severson. The devils and Severson already agreed he was gonna get more money elsewhere. He's also older, didn't have a roster spot going into next year and the Devils didn't wanna pay him. He also only got traded so he could get an extra year from the Jackets on his deal.

If you want mcleod you would need to offer a 1st (not his worth but Edmonton's not trading him anytime soon)

rumours say that PLD didn't find an agreement on the contract with kings.

Chicago takes broz (2nd rounder) who is an asset for them in the future for the Carter buyout money. so 2nd = 3.250.000 in dead cap ... granlund is dumped by swapping 1sts

Hawks decline. Broz doesn't cover Carter's $3m cap hit. And I doubt Hawks take Granny just to move up 5 spots.
