Hawks aren't paying for cap Dumps with picks, especially not a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th

Did you not just see the Hall trade? We'll take stuff for free if they're any good. We're not PAYING FOR Murray's cap dump.

What an absolute terrible Nylander return. 2 old rentals for a player in his prime. Leaf fans eh?

Isn't Nylander in his last year too?

But he's better than both and wants to stay in TO. The leafs can get one or the other for far less at 50% returned than throwing away Nylander with nothing to show for it.

Apparently there's still interest for Murray I can't believe it either... I honestly didn't know who plays net for Chicago so I thought it might make sense

Hawks have too many picks they will be traded or drafted and traded guaranteed.

The players sent actually weren't bad. It's just the Hawks aren't in a place to be sending picks away. There are better uses for those picks.

It sounds good but I think the money wouldn't work, if I'm Calgary I wouldn't retain money on 2 good players for a bag of pucks in return who would Toronto offer for those guys I don't know and also making room in the top 6 for Toffoli would need to be established I already have knies on the third line.... Tanev is very underrated in my opinion.

I disagree the Blackhawks have picks come out their ears, picking up vets and still so much draft capital and Bedard in place is looking pretty good

Why not move up in the draft then? That's a better option than Murray.

Why would Calgary want to trade for Nylander at all? If he won't sign in TO, do you honestly think he'll have any interest in Calgary? Where everyone wants to leave?
