I think this is really the direction of the Leafs and what they will do but I think it's not hardcore enough and it won't change the outcome, when Brodie's contracts done and Murray might be the time unless they can get rid of them next year...the third line isn't good enough, Tavares should move to wing and get a new top center but I do think this will be more like what the Leafs will do is how you have it set it up.

If you think O’Reilly settles for 3.8mil, I want some of what you are having. Range will be 4.5 to 5.5 IMO.

OReilly isnt signing for a dollar less then 5mil. being a dead UFA class he will get top dollar. also this is similarto the exact same roster. with a little less defencsive responsibility on the bottom two lines. the issue still remains the left side is horrible.

I think it is too much for Pesce, unless signed long term at a decent AAV.

Liljegren is going to be very important for the Leafs, and you're proposing (quite literally) 2 1sts, a 2nd and a 3rd for a UFA. Why not just roll the dice and see if he's available next year for free, or offer a more reasonable package.

Idk why everyone likes Pesce so much, he has 2-82 game seasons, no physical play, can he clear the front of the net? He looks like another Brodie, which doesn't fit the leafs needs of getting nasty on the backend.
