Description

If Steve decides he wants to take a run at DeBrincat, I'd imagine this is about the package it would take to land him here.

While a move like this would give Detroit a much better scoring punch, I still have a few concerns. Namely:

Who's our 2nd pair RD?
Who's going to be splitting the crease with Husso?

Pierre Dorion already said that he's not getting no 2023 1st round picks for Debrincat. Probably prospects and 2nd rounders.

I'd forgotten about that. Too bad, we're thin at RD.

And yes I agree, hence my secondary comments. My wet dream would be a blockbuster with Winnipeg for both the Connors and one of their defensemen. That is unless Yzerman really wants to keep stockpiling picks.

Wallinder played on the right side in the SHL. Our top four will be Ed, Mo, Walman, and Wally. We can acquire 3rd pair defenseman very easily.
