Description

amazing haul for PLD

Plan:

- trade Wheeler @ 50% for something
- trade Dillon, replace him with a cheaper, worse RHD (unless you can get someone better for less than 2.5M in FA (example here is Schenn)
- sign all RFAs
- sign a cheap backup (could be Rittich again, I went with Ned)
- sign a 2C (went with Domi here, next best options are Compher and ERod)
- move Scheifele and acquire DeBrincat - this means that one of Vilardi/Perfetti/DeBrincat will have to play C (optional)

Trade you Hoffman for Wheeler before camp
We both 50% RS and both sell at the TDL RS 50% more
We each lock up 2 of our 3 RS spots but we'll get a greater return on both if their caps low enough.

Better odds of a return cause ARZ doesnt pay for capdumps under GM Armstrong
If anything he'll want a 2nd round pick or two which is how he stock piled his arsenal of picks
He claims what he wants on Waivers otherwise you pay him , he doesnt pay you

Kind of like this squad, but probably ideal for one more trade and kind of needs to be a 3 for 1 type deal to possibly find a 2c option. Abundance of wingers and defenseman hopefully finds a 2c

niederreiter/iafallo + perfetti/vilardi for a young 2C could do it for a team that has an abundance of 2nd line talent and wants to get rid of it. maybe even perfetti + vilardi + 2023 WPG 1st and maybe something else could get you E Lindholm for when Scheif is gone

Kind of want to bargain hunt cheaper with extras for extras, find some opportunities in Winnipeg, not getting anywhere else. Sell scheifele/helly/wheeler/Dillon, and try to find rhd and possibly a krebs/sillinger type up front. Maybe a package of vets and youth will help with goalie of the future also
