How about we just buy out Goodrow and dont have to overpay to get teams to take him.

Blues don't have the cap to retain 50% and take Goodrow. Also don't know why they would do that also

That is a terrible offer for TK. Unlike Hayes, who management and coaching didn't want, they still value TK. The reason we got a 6th back is Trotz destroyed the value of players like Hayes by shipping off Johansen with 50% retention for Galchenyuk's signing rights. TK and Hayes are in two completely different groups.

Blues don't have cap space for that unless another trade happens. We also don't really have a roster spot for a forward at the moment. Nor do we seem to be in rebuild mode.
