Take one of those 2nds out and the 5th and 7th, and Coyotes accept. If both of those 2nds are required, take out the 3rd and the Coyotes probably accept.

The Capitals Pick is 8th (Top 10), the Senators Pick is 12th. The Capitals won’t do the proposed trade and certainly won’t do either of your suggested revisions.

Florida and Edmonton’s 2nd Rd Picks are basically 3rd Rd Picks and the Islanders 3rd is basically a 4th. Those are all mid-Round Picks from Playoff teams. That’s not nearly enough for the Capitals to move back four spots and out of the Top 10.
