I would add that NYR has to pick up anywhere from 2.5 mil to 3 mil of Trouba's contract per year.

Yeah, there's just no real value there for NY. They aren't trading the captain that they just named last year and I don't think he waives

There was talk of them buying Trouba out. They only have 11 mil CAP for 8 players and wanted to create more CAP space. The fans aren't happy with either.
