Correct. I made the claim LAST summer that NJD was turning into a potential dynasty and that they are the best built team in the league. They have since added Meier as well.

This team is looking very scary in the short AND the long term.

Great GM work, honestly, the offensive core is locked up for 4+ seasons and they have some great D depth locked up on cheap contracts too. Should be a contender for years.

I don't think you really see it this year as the defence is still developing and same with goaltending but the following years watch out. Great built team. Going to be fun to watch.
