I am not sure how realistic this is. Let me know which parts you think should change. If the money is too low on some I'm considering Evan Rodrigues instead of Bertuzzi.

I just checked their page and you're 100% right. They're also not in the greatest cap position. Who do you see filling the 1C role?

I must have misread the page. With Price still on LTIR your right. Then why does the trade not make sense. It's a 3C for 3C plus MTL gets 2 3rds

Dach is better, younger and cost controlled to a better cap hit. Absolutely no interest from MTL.

Also, Bruins would have to payy a lot for mtl to help them with their cap struggle. Habs aren't helping direct rivals for free.

True but I was kinda hoping they would want experience down the middle but fair point. Also i was pretending rivalries didnt exist. (see Liljergren trade also)

Well I can tell you AJ Greer and Alec Regula would be valued even less in Toronto. If they are trading Lilijgren it would be for similar value to Sandin or they just wouldn’t do it

Getting younger (and weaker with this trade) at a position they need help at isn't a good idea.

3C for 3C? that doesn't matter. Dach is 22 and MTL is in a rebuild. That's why the trade makes no sense. He's also more valuable than those two 3rds. He's also on a great cap hit

Regula is bigger and stronger than Liljegren and if ur not gonna use him why pay him 1.4

edit: and hes only 2 years younger. it just gives you more time to see what he has

The rebuild is a good point. What would you put his trade value at

Big strong young defenseman couldn't crack a bottom feeding team last year? Sounds like you should keep him.

TOR, a team in win now mode, shouldn't be trading their good young assets for younger assets to "see what they have".

I wouldn't trade him. But we traded the 13OA last year for him and he improved. He would need to return another 1st or a young player of his caliber
